Comment and attach files
A request carries two kinds of context: the comments (a discussion) and the attachments (documents).
Comment
Section titled “Comment”The Comment box sits with the request. Type your note — when you are acting at a station it doubles as your statement or reason (Your statement or reason …) — and send it. Comments are kept in the request’s thread; use @name to pull someone in.
Attachments
Section titled “Attachments”Under Request attachments (No attachments. until there are some):
- Attach file … to add a document; it shows added by
and its virus scan state (virus scan ok / virus scan disabled). - When you act at a station you can also Attach document (optional) with the decision.
- Pick a file you already have in the suite via the VNCfiles picker.
Manage
Section titled “Manage”- Delete comment — remove a comment you wrote (with a confirmation).
- Preview an attachment: Open in new tab, Download, or — for a type with no viewer — No preview for this file type.
- From VNCfiles — add a file you already have in the suite; a file that belongs to another app offers open it there.
