Create a poll

A poll turns a topic into a vote. It has a type, some options and an optional close date.

Create one

1. Start a topic (or open the editor) and choose the Poll type.
2. Set the Poll type:
   • Simple — named; the channel sees who voted.
   • Private — anonymous; only the counts are shown.
3. Add the options (+ Add option for more).
4. Optionally set Closes — the date the poll ends.
5. Publish the topic. Members vote; the running counts and n votes show on the poll. Results stay hidden until a member has voted (Results are shown after you vote.).

Close a poll

Select Close poll and confirm (Close this poll? Voting ends.). The poll is marked Closed; Closes {date} shows a scheduled end. Participants get a notification that the poll closed.
